How Facetivo works

What you are signing up for: short scenes, real choices, and a report on how you decide.

The format

Each situation is a short animated scene with voice-over. Something happens — a supplier lets you down, a colleague disagrees, a plan stops working — and you are asked what you would do. There are always four options.

The free preview takes about 15 minutes. The full assessment has 51 situations and takes about 90 minutes in total. Your progress is saved after every answer, so you can stop and carry on later, on a phone, a tablet or a computer.

How it works

Situational judgement is a well-established way of assessing how people act at work. We have turned it into a story you play.

    Step into the story

Short animated scenes put you in charge: a crisis, a difficult conversation, a plan that falls apart.

    Make the call

Each situation ends with four options. Choose what you would actually do — not what sounds best.

Why a game, and why it is fair

Facetivo is a situational judgement assessment: rather than asking you to describe yourself, it puts you in situations and looks at what you choose.

Every option is something a sensible person might do, but some show a skill more strongly than others. Each skill is observed several times, in different situations, so no single answer decides anything. Everyone is scored by the same, fixed method.

Your results

Each competency and each skill is given one of four levels: Acceptable, Good, Excellent or Outstanding.

The free preview is marked preliminary because it sees one situation per skill; the full report sees every situation for each competency you open, which makes its picture fuller and steadier.

  1. 1. Acceptable
  2. 2. Good
  3. 3. Excellent
  4. 4. Outstanding
