Cookie policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on facetivo.com, why we use them and how you can control them. Facetivo is operated by SoftPotential OÜ, Kakumäe tee 226, 13516 Tallinn, Estonia, registry code 14565562 ("we", "us").

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's session storage and local storage, keep small pieces of information on your device in the same way. In this policy "cookies" covers all of them.

Your choice

When you first visit facetivo.com we ask whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies. Nothing in those two categories is set until you choose, and "Reject all" is as easy as "Accept all". You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings at the foot of our pages or on the demo page. Withdrawing consent stops these cookies from being used from the next page you open; you can also delete existing cookies in your browser's settings.

Strictly necessary cookies do not need your consent, because the site cannot work as you asked without them.

Strictly necessary

These make the site work and keep it secure. They are always on.

  • ss_consent — remembers your cookie choice and the version of this policy you made it under. Set by us. Kept for 6 months.
  • ss_client_session — keeps you signed in to your Facetivo account. Set by us when you sign in. Kept for 30 days or until you sign out.
  • ss_client_csrf — protects your account against forged requests from other sites. Set by us when you sign in. Kept for 30 days or until you sign out.
  • Demo start token (browser session storage) — makes sure that pressing the start button twice starts one demo, not two. Kept until you close the tab.
  • Account and language preferences (browser local storage) — remember which account you last opened and the language you chose. Kept until you clear your browser's storage.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — a security check on the demo page that tells people from automated programs. It is provided by Cloudflare, Inc.; see Cloudflare's privacy policy at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

Analytics (only with your consent)

These help us understand how the site is used — which pages are visited and where people leave — so that we can improve it. They do not tell us who you are.

  • _ga, _ga_WMEVT9LMNX — Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited. They distinguish visits and sessions. Kept for up to 2 years. Google Analytics runs in Consent Mode: without your consent it is not loaded at all.

See how Google uses information from sites that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Marketing (only with your consent)

These tell us which of our adverts brought you to Facetivo, so that we can stop paying for the ones that do not work.

  • _fbp, _fbc — Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. They connect a visit to an advert shown on Facebook or Instagram. Kept for up to 90 days.
  • Advertising signals in Google Analytics — with marketing consent, Google Analytics may also use advertising features to measure our Google adverts.

When you have given marketing consent, our server may also tell Meta that a demo was started or a purchase was made, together with technical details such as your IP address and browser type, and, for a purchase, your email address in a scrambled (hashed) form. We never send your answers, your results, your report or your access link.

See Meta's privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/.

Where an advert brought you from

If you arrive from one of our adverts, the web address carries a few labels (for example the name of the campaign). We keep these in your browser's session storage until you close the tab, and send them with your demo start, so that we can count how many demos each advert led to. They contain no information about you.
